Web poker has become globally acclaimed as of late, with televised events and celebrity poker game shows. The games popularity, though, stretches back in fact a bit farther than its TV scores. Over the years numerous types on the first poker game have been developed, including a handful of games that are not quite poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is 1 of these particular games. Despite the name, Caribbean stud poker is most closely resembling vingt-et-un than old guard poker, in that the players wager against the casino instead of each other. The succeeding hands, are the established poker hands. There is no conniving or different types of bamboozlement. In Caribbean stud poker, you are required to pay up just before the croupier saying "No more wagers." At that instance, both you and the house and of course all of the different players receive 5 cards each. Once you have seen your hand and the dealer’s first card, you must in turn make a call bet or bow out. The call wager’s amount is akin to your beginning bet, meaning that the risks will have increased two fold. Surrendering means that your ante goes immediately to the house. After the bet comes the showdown. If the dealer doesn’t have ace/king or better, your wager is returned, with a figure equal to the original bet. If the bank does have ace/king or greater, you succeed if your hand defeats the dealer’s hand. The bank pays cash even with your bet and fixed expectations on your call wager. These expectations are:
- Equal for a pair or high card
- two to one for two pairs
- 3-1 for 3 of a kind
- four to one for a straight
- five to one for a flush
- 7-1 for a full house
- 20-1 for a four of a kind
- fifty to one for a straight flush
- one hundred to one for a royal flush
