Double-hand Poker is a current game with old origins. Based on the old Chinese domino game and the modern American adaptation of poker, Pai Gow poker marries the eastern with the wild west in an awesome game for early level gamblers.

Pai Gow is a poker game that puts the player vs. the casino, unlike nearly all other poker games that gamblers play against other players. By wagering against the dealer, starting players do not need to be concerned about other, more experienced individuals taking their $$$$.

A further Pai Gow benefit is the generally slow game pace, rookies are able to take their time and strategize without having to make frenzied decisions.

It’s also simpler to participate in for a long time with only a tiny bit of cash since, to not win, each of your hands needs to be under each of the casino’s hands.

Pai Gow is played with 53 cards; the normal 52-card common deck and one joker. The gambler is given seven cards face up and the croupier is dealt 7 cards face down.

A five card hand and a 2 card hand have to be made from the 7 cards dealt, the five card hand must be better than the two card hand. To win, a player is required to have both of his hand totals to be better than the dealer’s.
