Poker has become world celebrated recently, with televised tournaments and celebrity poker game events. Its universal appeal, though, arcs back in fact a bit farther than its TV ratings. Over the years several types on the first poker game have been created, including some games that are not in reality poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is 1 of the above-mentioned games. Despite the name, Caribbean stud poker is most closely related to twenty-one than traditional poker, in that the players wager against the casino instead of the other players. The succeeding hands, are the established poker hands. There is no concealment or different kinds of boondoggle. In Caribbean stud poker, you are required to ante up before the croupier announcing "No more bets." At that moment, both you and the casino and of course every one of the other players receive 5 cards each. Once you have observed your hand and the casino’s 1st card, you need to either make a call bet or bow out. The call wager’s amount is equal to your original bet, which means that the stakes will have increased two fold. Surrendering means that your ante goes immediately to the bank. After the bet comes the face off. If the house doesn’t have ace/king or better, your wager is given back, with a sum on par with the ante. If the bank has a hand with ace/king or greater, you win if your hand is greater than the dealer’s hand. The dealer pays out chips equal to your original bet and fixed odds on your call bet. These odds are:
- Equal for a pair or high card
- 2-1 for 2 pairs
- 3-1 for three of a kind
- 4-1 for a straight
- 5-1 for a flush
- seven to one for a full house
- twenty to one for a 4 of a kind
- fifty to one for a straight flush
- one hundred to one for a royal flush
