Online poker has become globally celebrated as of late, with televised tournaments and celebrity poker game shows. The games popularity, though, arcs back quite a bit further than its TV scores. Over the years numerous types on the original poker game have been created, including a few games that are not in reality poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is one of these games. Regardless of the name, Caribbean stud poker is more closely affiliated with blackjack than old guard poker, in that the gamblers wager against the casino instead of the other players. The succeeding hands, are the traditional poker hands. There is little bluffing or other kinds of boondoggle. In Caribbean stud poker, you are expected to ante up just before the croupier declares "No further bets." At that point, both you and the bank and of course every one of the different gamblers are given five cards. After you have seen your hand and the dealer’s 1st card, you must either make a call bet or accede. The call bet’s value is akin to your beginning wager, indicating that the risks will have doubled. Abandoning means that your ante goes immediately to the house. After the wager is the showdown. If the bank does not have ace/king or greater, your wager is returned, including a figure in accordance with the original bet. If the casino has a hand with ace/king or greater, you win if your hand beats the dealer’s hand. The house pony’s up cash even with your bet and fixed expectations on your call wager. These odds are:
- Even for a pair or high card
- 2-1 for two pairs
- 3-1 for three of a kind
- 4-1 for a straight
- 5-1 for a flush
- 7-1 for a full house
- twenty to one for a four of a kind
- 50-1 for a straight flush
